Blepharitis Products and Treatments – the Blepha Range

Eye Lid Hygiene Products – Preservative Free and Highly Effective

Developing a regular routine of eye hygiene is essential in the management of Blepharitis as it tends to recur and rarely disappears completely. It is important that you clean your eyelids every day, whether or not you are experiencing any symptoms. You should consider it part of your daily routine, like showering or brushing your teeth. Daily eyelid care helps prevent the build up of oils and crusted matter around the eyelid and lash area.
The Blepha Range was formulated by Dermatologists and tested by Ophthalmologists specifically for eyelid hygiene. This unique range was designed to be kind to the skin and the eyes, so even those with sensitive skin can use them as they are free from aggressive detergents and perfumes.

Blephasol Eyelid Hygiene Solution

blephasol eye drops

Blephasol is an aqueous cleansing solution designed for daily eyelid hygiene. It’s really easy to use – just a few drops on a cotton wool pad will cleanse your eyelids of debris, and there is no need for rinsing afterwards.
Blephasol is free from preservatives, perfumes and phosphates and as such, is very gentle on your eyes. As well as being an effective treatment for Blepharitis, it is also very good for removing eye makeup.

Blephaclean Eyelid Hygiene Wipes

blephaclean eye drops

Blephaclean Wipes use the same preservative-free aqueous solution as Blephasol, but they have the added convenience of being single wipes, so you don’t need cotton wool pads. They’re really useful for travel, particularly if you’re going on a long flight. Dry Eyes Expert wouldn’t recommend them for constant use because it would be more economical to use Blephasol, but they are just as effective. Each box contains 20 ready-to-use sterile pads.

Blephagel Preservative Free

Blephagel is a similar product to Blephasol and Blephaclean but it comes in a gel form, that many patients find more effective than a liquid solution. It is suitable for contact lens wearers.
Like the other Blepha products, Blephagel has a formulation that refreshes, softens and soothes eyelids without any alteration of the skin’s pH balance.
